Elizabet Puksto
Is a freelance Production Designer, Artist, and an Art Director. Born and raised in Vilnius, Lithuania, she was immersed in the arts ever since she was a young child and carried her passion into to a professional career in film and theater.
She attended a two year Visual Arts Program at the University of NC School of the Arts (UNCSA). She received her BFA at UNCSA, as well, in Design & Production, with a concentration in Scene Design and Scenic Painting.
Upon graduating she began her career as a scenic painter in the New York theatre community before shifting her focus to the creative visual worlds of live entertainment, immersive experiences, music videos, commercials and film.
She received the USITT Rising Star Award in 2021.
Regardless of the endeavor or the medium, Elizabet rises to technical challenges and brings aesthetic maturity to the task. She is well versed in bringing abstract thinking and suggestive visual metaphors to projects that might be less evocative if solved with traditional realism.
